History
A family enterprise, formalised for a new global manufacturing era.
Across three generations, each has widened the scope of the enterprise — the first established it, the second transformed it into an export-led furniture manufacturer, and the third is expanding its global capabilities and building its hospitality business.
1964
Timber becomes the foundation
The family establishes a sawmill in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, and begins sourcing timber — a division of the business that remains active and continues to expand today.
1982
Samir Agarwal joins the business
Working within the family enterprise, he builds the experience that would guide its move from sawmilling into finished furniture.
1993
Furniture manufacturing begins in Jaipur
Samir Agarwal moves the business to Jaipur and leads its transition from a sawmill-led operation into furniture manufacturing.
2021
Rajdhani Crafts & Daughters is established
Poorvi and Sakshi Agarwal establish Rajdhani Crafts and Daughters Pvt. Ltd., giving formal identity to the leadership transition they had prepared for by learning the business from within.
2022
A dedicated hospitality vertical
RCD launches its Hotel Catalogue, formalising its expansion into bespoke, project-based manufacturing for luxury hospitality.
2023
A growing roster of hospitality leaders
By 2023, RCD’s hospitality portfolio includes Taj, Hyatt, Marriott, Alila, ITC and Yak & Yeti — expanding this new vertical alongside its established export business.
Today
Manufacturing across two Jaipur units
RCD develops and manufactures furniture, fixtures and engineered wood flooring through connected departments at its Jaitpura and Bassi units.

Three generations. One workshop.
